Sofia Elise Jewelry in October's issue of Jewelry Affaire!

This piece was selected to be in the October issue of Jewelry Affaire!!! I'm so excited about it, I keep going to the bookstore to see if they have the issue yet! This design was fun and whimsical. I just wanted to create a piece that would make people smile! Everyone go check out the issue. It truly is a fantastic magazine. There are many jewelry publications out there-but when I saw their premier issue-it was refreshing and inspiring to see such creative, unique pieces featured inside. That is why it is TRULY, TRULY an honor to be in this magazine!!! I am amongst a ton of really talented, creative innovators and for that I am very thankful and blessed!!!

Super excited to see my pieces on air!!! I was honored that Cheryl Tan agreed to wearing a piece specifically designed for her! She wanted something grey/silver that would compliment several outfits. It worked out so well-the morning she received it, she realized how nicely it worked with what she was wearing and slipped it on for that morning's show!!! I am truly honored and blessed for the many opportunities that come my way!!!

Yay! yay! yay! this week has been a wonderful week for me!!! i hope it continues!!!
I am custom making a piece for the ever so stylish Natalia from Z104!!!! I am honored and cannot wait for her to rock a Sofia Elise Piece!!!!!! Many of you know her from the midday show (10-3pm) due to some legal reasons, she is unable to mention my name but it sincerely was never my intention for her to even do that. I already knew that in most cases you have to pay advertising dollars to get mentioned! and its not even about that for me! So long as she loves her piece and wears it proudly in the studio and special events-that's all good with me!!!! The way I see it-I can easily pay people/businesses to advertise my goods-but its great to just have someone want to wear your piece and not have to do anything in return! Just love it, cherish it and wear it proudly-that is all I ask!!

Ok so my next good piece of news is: Sofia Elise Jewelry is making its first boutique debut!!!! and at a very stylish and fresh boutique called Esme: Beloved Style. it was important for me to carefully pick/select the right boutique for me. I love the owners design point of view and aesthetic! I didn't want to sell my stuff to a store where I wouldn't wear any of their clothes. That just wouldn't make any sense! I feel we will be a fantastic team and hope to work with her more closely on some projects!!! My pieces should hit the salesfloor by next week! Please check her store out in Hilltop, near Fresh Market! and not just to see my jewelry-but to check out her other goods-really, really really cute stuff!

I have been totally slackin on keeping up with this blog!!! I gotta say-its hard between making jewelry, keeping up with my facebook page and being there for my 2 year old daughter! i know, I'm not experiencing anything that every other mother doesn't experience. but from now on-i am gonna make a point to write or add something at least every other day!

what i have been working on:
1. finally caught up on special orders-still got a few that i am working on.
2. getting ready for my artisans in the park festival.
3. it was my daughters 2nd birthday last week-so we celebrated it for the whole week.
4. this week she is sick-so all she wants to do is cuddle with me-she's sleeping right now!
5. making pieces for a boutique that is going to sell my stuff!!!!! super excited about this!!! woooo-hooooo
